Group Sound Therapy
(Classes scheduled by Inner Peace)
Quartz Crystal Chakra Singing Bowl Meditation
Sacred Gong Immersion Meditation
With Christopher & Lisa
Sound in any form is essentially a source of energy and we know that the Universe and everything within it is vibrating energy. Every organism, object and every part of the human body is made up of vibrating particles, which vibrate at their own unique frequency.
The frequency at which something most naturally vibrates is called resonance.
All the cells in our body are sound resonators so cells share resonance to form an organ, and every organ will respond as a group to particular sound vibrations, just like all the different instruments which make up a beautiful sounding orchestra.
The human body is made up of over 70% water, which makes it an excellent conductor of sound. Furthermore, it’s not only the physical body and it’s various systems that are affected by sound – emotional, mental and the spiritual states of consciousness can all be supported, strengthened and balanced through sound and resonance too.
What to expect during a session:
You will be invited to lie on a yoga mat, cushion, or whatever you choose to bring to lie on the floor on for comfort, along with any blanket or pillow for your head. The session will last around 2 hours, so you will need to be comfortable.
Beginning each session Lisa leads the group on a guided meditation facilitating relaxation and openness, while Christopher begins the sound bath experience. During the soundbath experience, Lisa also performs Reiki on each attendee.
This is a time of non-doing and total relaxation in which you will be bathed in sound waves and Reiki healing.
Exchanging and sharing energies with Christopher and Lisa during this time will further help in the transmission of healing frequencies.
